News From the President

In the last few months we have had the following team members celebrate their anniversaries with Matco Electric. Jan Winner 26 years, Devin Ashman 24 years, Kathy Towery 17 Years, Tim Subik 16 years, Bob Birsen 9 years, Donna Wright 7 years, Tony Salvatore 8 years, Jim Shamp 4 years, and John Rigdon 1 year

to have these dedicated professionals at Matco Electric.

New major projects in the last 3 months include 2 projects in Corning, AOMC  Lab in Elmira, substation for BAE, Grippen Park and 2 other projects at Cornell.

Major projects still in progress include the Destiny Mall in Syracuse, Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown, Leprino Foods in Waverly, North and MVR South , expansion in Cornell West Campus phase, Balch & Dickson Hall , Newfield Schools, and the Caroline Schools. Ithaca, and Lewis Center at Cornell ,6 projects for Corning, , Bresse Hall at Hartwick College in Oneonta, Norwich Schools in Norwich, AES Westover, BAE Systems, EIT, Lockheed Martin, 3 Projects at Binghamton University, Vestal Schools,  the Neuro Medical Suite at UHS Wilson Square at United Health Services in the Greater Binghamton area.

In the last 3 months we are proud to announce that the following IBEW members celebrated anniversaries with Matco Electric, Tom Datyon 18 years, Tom Planavsky18 years, Bob Utter 16 years, Mike Cron 11 years, Paul Miller 9 years, Dave Price 9 years, Skip Duff 9 years, Denise Dribnak 6 years and Steve Sedlacek 4 years.

Our TEGG & Services division has recently completed preventive maintenance or service work  at: L3 Communications; Maine-Endwell High School; Borg-Warner; Akwesasne Mohawk Casino; Hartwick College; Sanmina; Cornell Univesity; Clarkson University

Albany International (1 domestic; 2 international); and Orange County Community College.
